Google searches are searched about 3.5 billion times a day. People are searching for information, shopping online, comparing product prices, checking routes, or learning new things, and Google's mission is to integrate all of this information for the benefit of the public. Google Search is people's first stop when they want to know what to know, what to buy, where to go, or what to do! So how does Google search advertising work? Let's take Xiaoqiu's purchase of a bicycle as an example:
The foundation of Google's search campaign
If you want to show your text ads to potential customers, start by crafting a Google Search campaign. When you set up your search campaign, think about the different ways you can get more traffic to your site, service, or product, such as where you want your ads to appear, what your budget is, what messages you want your ads to convey, and which keywords match your people's search terms.
Search campaigns are created around marketing goals and are set based on actions you want people to take, technology that gets the most exposure by serving your network. Search campaigns can target all types of devices, or you can choose location and language, and the budget you're willing to pay for your ad line.
After you've completed the basic setup of your search campaign, you'll need to create text ads and show them to the right audience, starting with an ad group, and for each ad group, you can create specific text ads and a search keyword list that contains the words and phrases that will trigger her ads to appear.
(Attention:Ad groups are best built around themes or products, and text ads should contain titles, URLs, and descriptions of ad content. )
Control which searches can trigger your ads to appear
1 Think from the user's standpoint
Keywords should be consistent with words that users may use when searching for your product or service. This is called keyword targeting.
2 Think about your business goals
Do you want more people to visit your site, or do you want to reach people who are ready to make a purchase?
Keywords have five match type options to choose from, in order from broad to specific: broad matches, broad matches with modifiers, phrase matches, exact matches, and negative matches, and choosing the right match type for your keywords can help you show your ads to the right people.
Some search terms are something you can be sure users will use, while others are less predictable. Whatever your goal, you can use matching types to attract as many users as possible who might be interested in your business.
3 Give the job to Google for work
Have Google automatically create dynamically generated lists of text ads and keywords based on the content of your site. That way, the search terms that can trigger your ad will be more than you originally included in the list. (How to use dynamic search ads, click "Read the original" in the lower right corner)
