Facebook Ads: Step 5. How to set a budget and schedule for your ads
The text is 839 words, estimated reading time of 3 minutes.
BACKGROUND: Another big question about advertising is the budget, how can you spend relatively little money to achieve advertising benefits? Here's a place to help you better understand the budget and schedule of FB ads.
I. FB two budget types
Total budget: The total budget is the maximum amount you'll spend until your ads stop running. For example, if you set your total budget to $25, you'll be charged up to $25. Daily Budget: A daily budget is the average amount you spend on your ads each day. For example, if you set a $5-day budget and run it for five days, you'll be charged up to $25. FB charges your account each time it hosts an ad to a user (even if the user doesn't click or tap the ad). Keep an eye on your ads during ad run. If your ad isn't getting the results you want, you might need to edit it or start running again with a brand new ad.
TwoThe duration of FB ads
There are two main options for ad delivery: you can create a custom run period, or you can choose one from a pre-filled delivery period on Facebook. One issue to consider is the budget. For example, if you set a five-day run period with a total budget of $20, you'll try to limit your ad spend to $5 a day. If your daily budget is too low, your ads may be difficult to deliver or get the results you expect. Keep a close eye on your ad performance and try to adjust your budget and/or run period until you get the results you need.
Three, FB to charge for advertising fees in two ways
Fourth, FB sets the maximum amount of advertising spending
The account spending limit is the total ad spend that can be adjusted to limit the amount of all ads served by your FB ad account, starting with the limit. Your account spending limit helps control your ad spend to make sure it doesn't spend more than you're willing to spend. It is recommended that you set an account spending cap that reflects your total ad budget so that you can achieve the best business results. You can adjust your account spending limit at any time. Set your account spending limit: Ad symands your payment settings in the "Set your account spending limit" section, choose to set your account spending limit, enter the cap you want to use, and then confirm the settings When the current spending amount is reached, your ad is suspended and no more charges are incurred. When you change, reset, or remove your account spending limit, all ads that you run before you reach the limit will be resuspent immediately.
