Of course, all of these "firsts" come from rumors and supply chain news, so there is no official news yet. With so many firsts, it's no wonder apples are marking a higher price for the iPhone 12.

Assuming the information is accurate, the cheapest iPhone 12 will be $50 cheaper than the iPhone 11, which is likely to stay in Apple's product line for $599. The $649 iPhone 12 Mini will have many upgrades over the iPhone 11, but screen size is the only possible downgrade.

The cheapest 6.1-inch iPhone 12 will cost $50 more than the cheapest iPhone 11. The cheapest iPhone 12 Pro will still cost $999, but it will have more storage than the cheapest iPhone 11 Pro. This year's best version of the Pro Max will go up to $1,399. Mind you, these prices don't take into account headphones and chargers, but users get a more durable woven Lighting-to-USB-C cable.

Apple is expected to announce a date for the iPhone 12 launch this week, with rumors that the event could take place on October 13, meaning that at least some of the iPhone 12 models will be released on October 23. Some reports suggest that the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max could be further delayed until sometime in November.
